Contact Dermatitis: Gloves In A Bottle helps alleviate the condition.
Contact dermatitis is a skin inflammation showing up as a spot of an extremely itchy rash having clearly defined contours. It is caused by direct contact with a particular substance and depending on the working mechanism is either an irritation (irritant contact dermatitis) or an allergic reaction (allergic contact dermatitis).
Irritant contact dermatitis is the most common case of contact dermatitis characterized by more pain than itching and occuring when a chemical substance inflicts direct damage on the skin. The most common substances impairing the natural protective barrier of the skin are: water, acids, alkalis, solvents, strong soaps, detergents and such plants as poinsettias and peppers. The reaction to any irritating substance is individual - it depends on the "strength" of the chemical, frequency or duration of the contact and personal sensitivity to the chemical.
Allergic contact dermatitis is an answer of the immune system of a genetically predisposed individual to the contact with the particular substance (that is absolutely harmless for most people). The allergic response occurs only when a person's immune system is sensitized to the allergen. This reaction is also known as delayed hypersensitivity reaction, since the itching and dermatitis develop within 4 to 24 hours after contact with the allergen. There are more than 3000 of substances in your environment known to be capable of provoking the allergic contact dermatitis. The most common of them are fragrances and some ingredients of cosmetical and skin care products, some plants (like poison ivy), rubber (latex), antibiotics, preservatives, metals (especially nickel and cobalt that are common components of jewelry, snap-fasteners and buttons of jeanswear).
Gloves In A Bottle skin care product is a shielding lotion that bonds with the skin, creating protective layer that lets the skin avoid penetration of the irritating substances. It helps the skin to restore its integrity and protective functions and thus helps alleviate contact dermatitis condition.
Here is a sampling of the rave reviews and success stories we have received where people used Gloves In A Bottle as a skin care treatment:

Now and again a product comes along that does far more than what it was originally intended. Gloves In A Bottle is just such a product. I have tried fish oil capsules, prescription creams, including Lac-hydrin,and just about everything else I or my doctors could think of to get relief. The treatment of choice is apparently ammonium lactate cream (Lac-hydrin 12%). As good as it is supposed to be, it is outrageously expensive, messy, sticky and really didn't soften the thickening skin on my hands. In fact, even with the Lac-Hydrin, the simple act of holding a pencil usually resulted in continued cracks and bleeding fissures all over my palms.
While on holiday my wife saw Gloves In A Bottle and bought it to keep my hands clean when doing projects around the house. Like most things, I let it sit on the shelf until one day my hands were so bad that my wife insisted that I use the Gloves In A Bottle to keep hands clean. It did keep my hands clean, but more importantly, my skin seemed to look and feel better. So I continued using it on a daily basis once in the morning, at noon, after dinner, and before going to bed. Within another few days, I fully expect that my right hand will be back to normal.
Great product!!!! Thanks for my relief.

I wanted to say THANK YOU for your product. I have been having severe eczema on my hands and patches on my legs for more than 5 years. My dermatologist prescribed me drugs worth ?250. When I ran out, I saw your lotion and got the small bottle. It cured my eczema in less than 2 weeks!!
And I had a severe eczema, I mean - SEVERE!! I had to have leave of absence from school for all this time, so bad it was. Now I am back to school and I have been a spokes person for a month now - telling everyone how great it is and showing the bottles I bought. My friend has kids who have dermatitis and she said it was clearing up in days!
S.K. Pharmacist
I am a Pharmacist and I have used Gloves In A Bottle on my childrens' rashes in the buttocks and groin areas. These rashes are common in the summer humidity , and the child complains of a "raw" feeling down there. These rashes respond very well to your product , and I have ordered more Gloves In A Bottle and will recommend it to parents who ask for a treatment for this type of rash.
THANKS FOR A GREAT PRODUCT!
Marcia Davidson Nurse
I work as an ICU nurse. Always my hands are dry and reddened. I get contact dermatitis from the frequent hand washing. On a busy night my hands can be raw. Last year it was really embarrassing when I left a bloody trickle on my charting because of cracked fingers.
Your product returned my hands to normal. I am placing a personal order today. Do any of your products have a pump dispenser for use by more than one person?
I am writing on behalf of the other nurses I work with. I am not alone with my hand condition. Nurses in my unit and on the med-surg floors have also complained. Would you consider sending us some 5 or so bottles as samples to distribute to some of the other Nursing units to try?
Becky Boggess Deli Owner
Just wanted to let you know how much I like Gloves In A Bottle. My husband and I own and operate a small delicatessen and we generate tons of dirty dishes. We do have a commercial dishwasher but some of the pots and pans need to be scrubbed first. I end up doing a lot of dishes by hand. I formerly used rubber gloves but I became allergic to them, got a terrible, itchy rash on the backs of my hands. So now I use Gloves In A Bottle two or three times a day. What a great product! My hands are rash-free and no more itch! THANKS!
Marjo De Ridder Cosmetologist
I purchased Gloves In A Bottle because I needed to get relief from extremely chapped and dry hands. I am a cosmetologist and do a lot of chemical work - especially perms. Gloves In A Bottle works! My hands are great. I have great hands after a week of exposure to the hazards of my work. There is no similar product. Gloves In A Bottle is it!
David Kline Gardener
People who work with their hands - plumbers, auto mechanics, gardeners - will appreciate Gloves In A Bottle. This stuff actually works! For gardeners, those cracks around the thumb are gone. And I’ve found using it on my forearms gives almost complete protection against dermatitis that used to result from working in juniper bushes. Washing up is quicker, easier and more effective, even after doing greasy jobs such as engine work. Not to wax too enthusiastic, but I’ve rarely found a product that delivers more than it promises.
Richard Dunn Dentist
I purchased Gloves In A Bottle because I was looking for a product that would reduce the symptoms of contact dermatitis from irritants such as soap or powder from washing your hands and latex glove wear. I have not found a product that works as well as Gloves In A Bottle. I want to give my unreserved endorsement of your product.
J.W. Accountant
I want to thank you for your great product Gloves In A Bottle. I have very sensitive skin and break out easily using most cleaning products. This weekend I had to clean, so I gave your product a try. I must tell you I was overwhelmed at how well it protected my hands. I was able to scrub, have my hands in and out of water for over 3 hours with no problems whatsoever. No burning, itching or flaky skin. When I finished I re-applied Gloves In A Bottle and I was amazed at how soft my hands still felt!
Edel T. Dublin, Ireland
Gloves In A Bottle was recommended to my sister (who has chronic contact dermatitis from contact with horses) by a friend, who has been an aircraft engineer for 20 years and says his hands are 'like a normal persons' since he started using it!!!!
She is really finding your product to be great! She has tried lots of hand creams and lotions and they only improve her hands for short periods of time. Gloves In A Bottle has meant that she has recently been able to do things like washing her hair without gloves, touch wet clothes washed with detergent and apply body lotions etc. without gloves. What a difference!
I have also recommended it to my work colleagues who handle cheese and butter daily as the constant need to wash their hands has led to extremely dry skin.

I recently bought your product Gloves In A Bottle for my boyfriend who is a plumber on a construction site. His hands are all eaten up by years of using PVC glue and cleaners. He claims your product is a miracle worker. Not only are his hands not getting worse, they're improving!
Duane Campbell Custodial Director
We purchased Gloves In A Bottle for our Maintenance and Custodial staff. They work with oils, lubricants and various kinds of chemicals, and the latex gloves they were wearing were irritating their hands. We have not experienced any product like Gloves In A Bottle. We use it in conjunction with latex gloves and have been very happy with it.

Just dropping you a note to say THANKS!!!!!!!!
You saved my job.
After about 8 months of agony and seeing about three different skin specialists I was told to quit my job and change my profession. (I am an auto technician) I had a skin infection that the doctors could not cure.
I tried Gloves In A Bottle and got instant results. The burning of my skin stopped.
I now have been using Gloves In A Bottle for 1 month. My hands do not look like hamburger anymore. My hands have completely healed up. This product is nothing short of a miracle.
Karen Veterinary Technician
I have tried a sample of your wonderful product on a persistent infected hand. I work for a vet and need the protection of a bandage, but I wash my hands frequently and am unable to keep it dry. I have tried several local pharmacies and they were unable to find your product for me. Please let me know where I can purchase your wonderful product!

I have an illness called Systemic Lupus Erythamatosis, which is in a nutshell, is a disease that attacks my own immune system. My skin is always dry and at times very itchy. I develop rashes and rough, dry skin on different areas of my body, so of course I am always looking for a lotion or moisturizer to soothe these areas of concern.
To my amazement, after trying just a very small sample of your product, Gloves In A Bottle, I was hooked! I have spent hundreds of dollars looking for the right lotion, but nothing has even come close to your product. I'm so tickled to have found this new product that I'm telling everyone I know and even those people I don't know, what a fantastic skin product your company has developed.
This product without a doubt, will be a life changing experience for those of us who deal with daily skin problems which range from irritants, illnesses, or just our own environment of which we are all exposed to "who knows what" on a daily basis.
I can't begin to tell you the total excitement that I have for this Gloves In A Bottle product. I can only say that you will have me and everyone that I know for a lifetime customer.
Our hats are off to you for developing a winning product, that I assure you will be well received by anyone who is fortunate enough to come in contact with it. You have saved the day, or should I say, you have saved and protected our precious skin! Now I can throw away all of the unused product in my home, and replace them with Gloves In A Bottle, which I know works like a miracle.
Now, instead of putting Vaseline on my hands at bedtime and wearing a pair of gloves over it, I can simply smooth on a small amount of your product and know that I am getting the very best protection that money can buy. I just love your product and I love it so much, that I'm going to make sure that everyone I know in the healthcare industry, including my doctors, that this is the protecting qualities. You have my complete endorsement of your wonderful product.
Thank you.

I had to write to tell you how pleased I am with Gloves In A Bottle. My hands have been so bad that I've been embarrassed to let them be seen. I have gone to the dermatologist, used prescription creams, even used rubber gloves as much as possible, but to very little avail. I'm a professional business woman and must attend many meetings and naturally my hands are always on display, going through briefs, etc. When possible I try to keep them in my lap and out of sight.
Well, I've been using Gloves In A Bottle for approximately one week and the results are astonishing! My hands are those of a human being again, even my cuticles look great and the overall condition of my skin is truly amazing. Gloves In A Bottle did more than the expensive prescription cream. The nice thing is that a little goes a long way, and it penetrates the skin, leaving a very nice, dry, smooth feeling after application. I've been able to get a manicure and am wearing some of my favorite rings again. Its great!!! Thank you for making such a wonderful product available.

Since 1969, my skin has been plagued with topical allergies in the form of an itchy rash... It started out with a reaction to gold, other metals and plastics. By 1973, I could not handle raw tomatoes or green pepper, or adhesive tapes. In 1993, the reaction was full blown, with my being unable to touch any fresh vegetables, fruits, bread, grass, flowers without gloves.
Under dermatologists' care all this time, I finally had to resort to plastic gloves to cook in. I was allergic to the plastic, so wore white cotton gloves underneath. The problem with this was that my cooking would be interrupted every five to ten minutes so I could remove the gloves so I could cool off my hands to prevent the exacerbation of my latent eczema.
With passion, I love cooking and eating. With Gloves In A Bottle, I can do things like hold a tomato, plum or peach with my bare hand, and hold it as I slice! I can fiddle around with all the chopping I want for Asian stir fries in half the time. I can go outside and caress a tree blossom, a rose.
My gratitude is manifold.
